You Have Time- But You DON'T Have Time To Waste

I had not struggled that much in a long time.
Friday mornings were becoming a consistent lesson in humility. After starting CrossFit in a garage two years ago, I was finally able to start working with a certified CrossFit coach every Friday morning. This meant getting my butt kicked every week.
In the middle of the weekly workout, I was gasping just to get a breath, slow my heart rate down, and compose myself. It was during this extended pause that I heard words that I will never forget. A friend and workout partner yelled out:
“Hey! You got time! But you DON’T have time to waste! Let’s GO!”
I realized he was right. Every second that I stayed squatted and not doing my burpees, I was getting farther and farther away from finishing on time. The buzzer sounded and I left that workout incomplete.
My friend’s words have been ringing in my head ever since. They apply to everything you do in life. Your health, family, fitness, occupation, faith, all require time but do not afford you time to waste.
If you live like you have no time to waste, you set your focus on the things that really matter to you. Then, you make a plan to set the plan in action and don't waste a second.
Don’t stop reading without realizing what this means for you.
This is where you have to take inventory of what you are currently doing to stay healthy and live the life you want to live.
